Bubbles All the Way, by Sarah Strohmeyer

Let me tell you about Bubbles Yablonsky and her story. In Sarah Strohmeyer’s latest 341 page hit, Bubbles All the Way, main character, Bubbles is a bright , slightly unorganized, and outrageously funny character in a world of stress, romance, scams, dimwits and creepy bosses.

Bubbles Yablonsky has two jobs, one, working for her one and only best friend, Sandy at the House of Beauty hair salon. Her second job is a writer for the local newspaper, the News Times. She may hate the boss there but getting free access to clubs, fundraisers and more is her favorite part. One day Bubbles is at the House of Beauty helping Sandy when the over confident, self-centered, bragging diva, Debbie Shatsky, walks in to get her weekly hair extensions. Every local lady wished for Debbie to disappear so they could get their hands on her husband Phil. He hates sports, cooks dinner, gives massages, and is most women’s dream. Well, when she drops dead to an allergic reaction to the latex in her hair glue, Sandy is suspected, and Bubbles’ world turns upside down.

Bubbles declares she must clear Sandy’s name and find the answer to this crazy sudden death. Although Bubbles knows that this is the last thing she needs on top of her upcoming wedding to a man she despises, troubles with her News Times job, and secret love with an old friend. Over the next few days Bubbles is struggling to find clues while juggling her and her fiancé also ex-husband, Dan, her daughter Jane and boss at the News Times. Bubbles has near death experiences with a mysterious “Santa Claus” dressed man, whom she exclaims is a major clue to Debbie’s death. On top of all this, Bubbles is in love with her old boyfriend Steve Stilletto and tries to find her wedding for Steve.

So Bubbles digs deep into Debbie’s past to be with Steve, and tries to keep her job at the News Times all in this comedy/mystery that is very enjoyable and will give you a taste of Bubbles’ world.

Bubbles All the Way is an enjoyable book on my count. It’s an adult mystery, so be warned on the adult part. I loved this book because I got to know all the characters very well and because I got to know all the characters very well and because everything and everyone in the whole book. If you consider surprise endings as a disadvantage, then maybe you wouldn’t want to read this book. The ending hits you like a bomb from nowhere. Other than that, this is an enjoyable book that tons would enjoy. I truly recommend this comedy mystery for all to enjoy, but this is only one funny book in a series of hilarious extraordinary novels. Bubbles is in the majority of books, if you read this one, she wants to see you read the others.
