HungerGames Review

Kevin K

‘The HungerGames’ is written by Suzanne Collins.

In this book there are District 1 through 13 and people live their District.

Each District must tributes one boy and one girl for joins Hunger games every years, which have to fight other District tributes even from same District tributes become enemy and winner of the Hunger games become rich and other tributes become dead body, but Distict 13 didn’t tributes boy and girl so Capitol(Capital of Districts) send army to destroy District 13. Now there are only twelve District left. There is Katniss Everdeen from District 12 and she hunt animal then feeds her family. Her family members are her sister, mother, and herself. In this year District 12 mayor draw name paper and name paper says “Prim Everdeen.” Prim Everdeen is Katniss’s younger sister so Katniss volunteer for her sister and Katniss go up to stage. Katniss gets to pick boy tribute and boy name is Peeta Mellark. They get on the train to go to the Capitol and Hunger games begin. In my opinion I like this book. This book sure has lots of action and some romance, but lots of pages make me boring. During this book Katniss has some confuse for her mind to Peeta, loving or doesn’t love and it’s not complete sure for answer. One thing, the first few chapter was boring for me, but during the Hunger games are most exited in this book. I’ll recommend this book. I’m pretty sure you’ll like it.

It sounds like Katniss is very brave. She, and this book, seem very interesting and involved.
