The perks of being a wallflower

I wonder what are the perks of actually being a wallflower, and what it has to do with this book? I gotta say i give big credits to the author Stephan Chbosky. He did a wonderful job of including a lot of detail. Now let me tell you how it all starts off. It starts with this one boy named Charlie and this is all happening in 1992. Charlie is starting high school so that already means drama. He's that kind of shy kid and doesn't talk that much to people. But one night when he was at a high school football game he saw Patrick. Patrick was from one of his classes. Patrick asked him if wanted to sit with him and Charlie said yes. Right after he sat down, to him the most beautiful girl sat down right next to him. That was the start of a new friendship, or even a little bit more. Through out the book he tries knew things like participating in a play with his new friends, witch by the way are all seniors. He also starts going to parties and he also does some drugs and starts smoking. He makes more friends and more girlfriends too. But he made a huge mistake that lead him and his friends apart. His problems got worse and he was still stuck all alone. It might get better or worse. Just read the book and i assure you, you will fall in love with it like i did. I fell in love with it mostly because of the realism and how this could happen and does happen to a lot of people. I think that the author really plays with your mind here because you know what Charlie is doing was wrong but you cant get mad at him. I also love that this all comes in like a diary format where he writes and it just gives of so much detail so you could just like feel you were there while it actually happened. I love how it has emotional sense where you just try to think about it more and more. I think that a lot of people these days are going to love that its just so real and relative. I think everyone with a love for emotion and realism should definitely give this book a chance.
