                                                Dark skies

Last night I sat alone

Looking at the dark sky.

Listening to the whistling sound of the garage tarp.

Thinking about the time me and dad caught a carp.

                    part 2

I thought about her all night.

I thought about the future love was in sight.

I sat in the dark listening to my parents fight.

I love basketball watch it every night I wanted to be Jordan and take flight.

Or the time mom got us a huge kite.

And the time grandma got me a new bike.

Remember when mom brought us to star bucks?

Or when dad tried to get our bars up?

Dad used to get us up, and he put us down.

After school he us to take us downtown.

Mom and dad told me to get my grades up.

They told me if I didn’t it would feel like 1000 paper cuts.

All of this reminded me of dark skies and them time when people were in my ear like big flies.

Bo Jackson [Vincent Edward Jackson] to me is one of the best football and baseball player or athlete ever. In high school he played kicker, punter, defense, offense, punt returner, and kick returner. Also In high school Bo Jackson hit one of the longest home runs, which was 475 feet or 158.3 yards. Before college Bo Jackson got a deal from the New York Yankees, he declined the offer to attend the college of Auburn. In high school Bo Jackson hit one of the longest home runs, which was 475 feet or 158.3 yards. When Bo Jackson was in college he won the Heisman trophy for most outstanding player in 1985.

Bo Jackson still holds the NFL record for the fastest 40 meter dash 4.12 seconds. The only person that was close to beating his record was Chris Johnson his time was a 4.24 seconds.

When Bo was a kid his dad taught him to keep his mouth shut and not to talk Bo got habited to stuttering and it still affects him to this day. He had to fight a lot because of his stuttering problem he got made fun of and he couldn’t hold in his anger because he had anger problems. When Bo was little he never really bragged about his freakish talents or “powers”, that being said it carried on into when he played football or baseball when he did something extraordinary he rarely celebrating like most athletes would and do.  Bo’s real name Vincent was quickly remembered by everyone because he was known as a trouble maker. He was unable to stay out of trouble. He was breaking windows, stealing bikes, and beating up other kids. In his autobiography  he said “ I even hired other kids to beat people up for me. I didn’t have time to beat all them up myself.” His family members started to call him “wild boar” because that was the animal they thought he best resembled. Shortly after they gave him that name they shortened it to Bo. As a kid his mother could barely support his family. His father left them when he was little and visited him every now and then his dad started seeing different women and started making a family without Bo and his seven other siblings. When Bo was 13, his preacher encouraged him to change his ways and stop being a trouble maker. Bo realized he had to change his ways or he was going to be sent away. He was caught throwing rocks at the minister’s pigs and he killed four of them he made Bo pay the pigs off to him. Bo started to put his focus on his grades and sports. His mother said that sports were the “only way to keep him out of trouble”. Bo had a very good work ethic to surpass his peers he played at the Industrial League in Bessemer, where he played against grown men. In 1990 he was playing a game against the Cincinnati bangles Kevin walker tackled Bo. Bo’s hip was pulled out of his socket he put it back in place but later realizing he badly damaged it. He had to get hip replacement surgery. In years after his surgery he had realized that the surgery was not successful he had to retire from the NFL and play baseball. Bo Jackson has a huge impact on the world he has his own charity. His charity helps people who were in big storms, he also teaches people how to be safe in storms. This charity is in Alabama native to where Bo lives. Every year there is a annual event that Bo does with his charity and people in need he said “I want to make this a annual event to get people around the world to notice the damage storms do to people”. With his charity they ride bikes all around the state of Alabama to raise money for people damaged by storms, but to build the world in my opinion. Shelters and safe houses from storms. That is a huge impact on the world in my opinion.
