Old Yeller By: Fred Gibson
Old Yeller by Fred Gibson is a book you have to read. It is about a 14 year old boy named Travis who is in charge until his dad back. He lives in the hills of Kansas. There are two main conflicts in the story. The first was bear attack on Travis's little brother Arliss. The main conflict is a serious disease that turns animals and humans into horrible creatures that are extremely contagious. Early in the book Travis finds a stray dog. At first he doesn't like the dog but as the story goes on he gets attached to the dog. I recommend this book to every body who can handle a sad ending. This is a good book with a lot of action it gets yo attached to the characters. This is quick read I finished it in about a week.
