           A day in the future

             By, Junelle M.

It was the year 4000 in Robotville when I   woke up to my alarm clock. As I was on my way to the kitchen, I stopped and looked out the living room window. I looked out the window to see robots building houses, mowing the lawn, and writing parking tickets. Basically, the robots had taken over all daily tasks.

Suddenly, I heard my dad say to my mom,” I hate my job, but that ‘s the only one there is.” My mom said, but it’s so important that you have this job .we need more robots to help everyone.”

Then my mom called my brother Myles and I to go to school. Mrs.Robota was my teacher and Mr.robo was Myles teacher. When we got to school Mrs. Roborta’s was there {she’s a robot} since I was the only one at school I hade to flip Mrs.robota’s switch on. She said “Hello Junelle! How are you? Are you ready for class?”[See, the teachers at my school aren’t like your teachers, when the kid comes to school, they have to flip the switch on. It’s usually on their hair. Then she will ask me a question or two. After that we start at exactly half an hour after the lesson. When I leave, she shuts off.

                     4 hours later

I found my brother and we walked home, after dinner, I walked past the window where I once saw working robots. As I looked out I to myself, I wonder what it would be like if  we didn’t have robots.
