I choose Florida because there are many interesting things to do there.

The capital of Florida is Tallassee. I would like to visit the largest city in Florida, which is Jacksonville. Did you know that the major industries in Florida are Tourism, and agriculture (Oranges), and more? The residents are Floridians. FL is the abbreviation for Florida.

Robots

Today is the big day! Today is the parade! They’re going to have flying cars to provide good shade for each crowed of people.  It’s going to be awesome, especially with Buddy right beside me, just like everyone else’s robot.

Buddy loves the parades because he doesn’t get out much.  At home, he just answers to my commands by doing the cooking, cleaning, getting my parents morning newspapers, and making me happy. I wish Buddy could do everything at once so he could have fun while doing his housework.   Lately, Buddy has been anxious about going to the parade. I personally think he just needs to get out more and plus the parade only comes once a year.  I also thing part of the reason that Buddy is so excited is because the model robots are new and improved.   It’s not a surprise that he couldn’t wait all year long for the parade.

At the parade, Buddy said, “W-h-e-n  a-r-e  w-e  g-o-i-n-g  t-o  s-e-e  t-h-e  m-o-d-e-l  r-o-b-o-t-s?”  He was so excited, he couldn’t wait to see them!

Eventually, it was time for them to put the flying cars away because the parade was almost over, but then we heard a large boom and a big truck came.  It slowly opened the back and the people quickly moved back.  Then, out of nowhere, came out the Model Robots.  That’s when I knew that my parents had to get me a Model Robot.

One year later, I got the Model Robot, which seemed to make Buddy sad.  I hope that he starts straightening up and helping the Model Robot clean up around the house or the new Model Robot could breakdown.  I don’t want him to breakdown because he is practically new and he looks like the best robot I’ve ever had.

The next morning, I noticed that Buddy was missing.  For some reason, my parents did not care.  I didn’t know if it was that they did not need him because of our new robot or because of something else, but I’m going to go out and find him.  I went everywhere that day looking for him.  Eventually, I found this dirty piece of metal on the side of the trashcan and I found out it was Buddy.  He was completely useless and non-workable so I could not fix him, even if I tried.  So, I sat there and cried until I couldn’t cry anymore.  Finally, I had a chance to think, but I didn’t know what drove him to this.  All I have are my memories of Buddy and that is what kills me the most because I loved him, not as my maid, but more like a pet.

Dreaming

Have you ever wondered if something really happened or was it a dream?  Sometimes people mix their dreams up with reality.  Dreams are stories that the mind create while you are sleeping.

Some dreamers have thoughts when they’re awake, then when they sleep their thoughts turn into dreams. Dreams help us think of solutions to worries that we think about during the day. Our dreams help to take the worries off of our mind. Dreams reflect what happens in our daily life. Dreams mix real life thoughts with fantasy. Sometimes a dreamer can have bad thoughts at night while dreaming and it puts them in a bad mood when they awake. Most of whatever you’re feeling, have seen, or heard while awake can enter your dream, it could be a song, a movie, or pictures that you remember while dreaming. Dreams can also be about thoughts that you don’t care about remembering and some say it’s like removing “junk from your mind during sleep” (Dream - Wikipedia). Then again, dreams can also be about thoughts you want or need to remember.  It is said that, “our dreams are episodes” (Britannica ) in our head. The Encyclopedia Britannica says, “dream’s are illusions or hallucinations of real experiences.” Only you know what your dreams look like and what they mean.   Everyone’s dream’s are different.

There are many different theories about dreams.  August Kehule’s theory was the mind unwraps events in a specific order.  He thinks that doctors still don’t understand what dreams are. Frent believed “we dream so that we can release deep secrets, and desires that we are not allowed to express in real life because of the rules of polite society”. (Activation synthesis theory)  was “dreams are subconscious whishes to interpreted”. Dreams are wishes, the mind also unwrap events during sleep, and their things you can’t express in real life.

Here are some effects dreams can have on your body. During your dreaming process you start to have rapid eye movement. This causes your breathing, heart, and brain waves to increase in movement. Dreams also can causes you to have mixed feelings. You could be confused, sad, or even scared.

In conclusion, dreams have many meanings.  Dreams give us solutions to worries that we have. Others have thought that dreams unwrap stories in our heads while sleeping. Dreams also have affects on our bodies like rapid eye movement and our heart rate increases while we dream.  Dreams are an essential part of human life.

 Singing With My Mom

I feel like it was just yesterday when I felt like all hope was gone. I was, actually trying to sing this song perfectly, but it just was not coming out right. So, I began to get really frustrated. Then my mom’s beautiful, sweet loving voice said, “Just calm down and breath”. She told me to breath one good breath through my stomach and when I breathed out again I needed to start singing, then I would see what a difference it would make. So, I felt like I was doing just that, but I really wasn’t. She told me not to give up because singing is something I enjoyed doing so, my mom showed me how to sing it the right way and it was funny because she didn’t even know all of the words, but my mom being funny is what I love about her as well. So, I began to feel more confident, but then a sudden rush came over me and I just started looking at my mom, thinking of how beautiful she really looked in her heart for trying to help. That was a real special moment for me. She really could keep a beat snapping her youthful looking hands.
