A picture of the Meteor Crater.
I really want to go to Northern Arizona! Why, you ask?
- There are mild, warm winters, and HOT, dry summers.
- It has Meteor Crater, a crater formed by a meteorite some 50,000 years ago, that has a diameter of 1,200 ft., and a depth of 570 ft.!
- Arizona was the last contiguous state, meaning that it was the last state connected to any other states.
- There are many Indian Reservations, such as the Navajo and Apache indians.
- It has the University of Pheonix, which has the largest student body in North America.
I think Northern Arizona would be the best place to go in the US! They have beautiful winters, and HOT, dry summers. I love the heat, but not when it's humid! It has a private park, The Meteor Crater, and it's huge! with a diameter of 1,200 ft, and a depth of 570 ft, it has to be awesome. Arizona was the last state to be declared that is connected to the rest of the US, which means that it's not very old...
There are a ton of Indian Reservations in Arizona, the largest being the Navajo reservation. There are nearly 300,000 Navajo indians in the US, and a good percentage of them live in Arizona! And last, but not least, the University of Pheonix is in Arizona. This school has the largest student body in the United States!
I really hope that I've convinced you of how totally awesome Arizona is! I know I plan on visiting before I die! I seriously think you should too!
