Black Hills National Park

  • The Black Hills have the highest peaks in the continental North America east of the Rockies.
  • During the gold rush 1875-1878 thousand of miners all over the world came to dig for gold this part of the South Dakota. (was widly popluated)
  • The Black Hills have two carvings on Mount. Rushmore one The Crazy Horse and The four presidents.

                      The Black Hills and Mount. Rushmore is a great place to go you can learn so many things there here some info. to make your trip the best it can be. The Native Americans have lived in the Black Hills since 7000 B.C. The Black Hills have the highest peaks in the continental North America (east of the rockies.) During the gold rush in 1875-1878 thousands of miners all over the world came to the terriory of South Dakota. This area of South Dakota was widly populated for the this peroid of time. The gold rush caused the Indian War and the Black Hills War.The Black Hills have two carvings in Mount. Rushmore. The carvings are one currently being consturcted The Crazy Horse and the other the very famous Four Presidents.
