Walk Two Moons Essay
In “Walk Two Moons” Sal describes her trip as a “gift” because her grandma died from snakebite. Why is it a gift, because it brought them close together, then they already were. Also Sal grandparents just wanted Sal to walk in her mom moccasins or Sal’s mom steps. Also that she lost her grandparents and the police officer had to take her to her mom gravesite. Also that her grandmother died. So Sal in her grandpa went back to the farm and started their new lives. That was gift. Even though it doesn’t sound like a gift, Sal finally accepted her mom’s deaf. Also it’s kind of a gift for Sal in her grandpa, because now they can have more time together, even though she’s missing mother figures.
In the Conclusion I wrote about Sal gifts. Why? Because while she went on her trip with her grandparents she didn’t know it at the time, but she went on the trip to back track her mother footsteps. It was some gifts on the trip, because things happened during the trip that brought her and her grandparents together. That’s why I wrote about “gift”.
