Death In The Garden

There once was a lazy flower

Who lived his life in a shower

He watched the sun set

Saw his silhouette

And said "Hi" to his neighbor cauliflower

The cauliflower shook his head

He wanted this lazy flower dead

He came up with a plot

It was murder he sought

So he hit him with a block of lead

Sun in my eyes

I look out to the sun

My expression is blue

I prefer rainstorms

How 'bout you?

I stare at the sun

"My eyes" I exclaim

They painfully burn

My pupils inflamed

I yell at the star

I scream and shout

I'm fed up with this sun

I soon pass out
