1. What is a utopia?

It is a perfect society with no violence and arguments and no one is ever hungry or homeless.

2. What is one example of a utopia (a book, a movie, a song, a place, or a concept)? (besides the Community)

Lorax

{if you finish early, make a link to more info about your example}

3. In what ways is the Community in The Giver a utopia?

No one is ever hungry and there is no violence... Everything is well organized.

4. In what ways is the Community in The Giver the opposite of a utopia (sometimes called a dystopia)?

Sometimes people break the rules, for example, they "lie" by saying they're starving when they're really just hungry.

5. Would you want to live in a utopia?  Why or why not?

Jamee says she doesn't but Olga says that she probably would.

Jamee's opinion:

There would be too many rules and most things would be organized and perfect.

Olga's opinion:

No violence or hunger is good I guess, and if everyone was the "same", it'd be my chance to be unique (grabs a magical unicorn)...
