Final Reflection
I think that throughout the year, my writing has gotten better and more delveloped.(I linked all of the papers that I can)
Descriptive essay: My very first paper was crammed full of too many details, but now, I feel that my writing elaborates, but it won't kill you with details. Mr. Kabodian has helped me write an essay that can focus on the main idea, and let you kow immediatly was the paper is about.
My Personal Essay: In this essay, I was told that my paper was fine, expect ofr one scene that I completely forgot to include. I finally added it, and it created a smooth transition from one scene to the next. I feel that being told about the forgotton scene has helped in the big run with making sure that the story in smooth,and it makes sense.
Persuasive Essay : In this essay, I talked about how cell phones should not be allowed in school. This is one topic that many of my peers dissagreed with, but that I belived in strongly. By the time I wrote this essay, I was sure of how to elaborate and not go on and on(at least in my opinion). Researching for this essay was reasonably easy, there were a lot of arguements about this topic.
Public Service Announcement digital Story: This project was a little trickier to complete, because our topic was hard to find reasons for. We also had problem with music, but in the end, we were able to complete it with hard work. It was harder to work with others, but in all, I had fun working with Julianna.
Poem :This, in my opinion, was our easiest project. With little diffieculty, I came up with three poems. All of these poems consisted on different formats. I actually found it quite fun to come up with poems, and with a little help from Mr.Kabodian, I determined that my poems were okay to turn in.
This I believe essay:This was probably my least fafvorite essay. I had a hard time finding a topic that I belived in strongly. Then, I had even more trouble compiling evidence, and talking in 1st person. I was continually tempted to say YOU instead of I and ME.
This year, I have learned to be more organized when I write, and to be patient when I am researching.
Using the Wiki for me was a....unique experience. I personally would prefer not to use it in the future, but I have finally figured out how to use it. I did have trouble with being able to save things, but I think that I've got it down now.
My Opinion of the Wiki: Not bad
