I believe in music. One summer I was having a hard time and my friend Kelly, showed me some songs by a band called Avenged Sevenfold. I immediately liked them and kept asking him to send me more songs by them. The first chance I got, I ran out and got some CDs by them. I listened to the lyrics and they changed my point of view on a lot of things and made me see people differently. He showed me some more bands and I did the same thing with them. My opinions and my life changed completely because of music.
I believe in music. I used to be shy and didn't have very many friends but because Kelly showed me some bands I found some people who went to school with me who actually liked the same exact bands and more. These friends got me into other bands that added onto my opinions, and point of view of things. Now I hang out with these friends when I can and I am able to do things I wasn't able to do before, like get invited to go to concerts.
I believe in music. I used to like pop, hip-hop, rap, and all that kind of popular stuff, but I did really listen to the lyrics like most people, I listened to the tune of the background music. Mostly because I couldn't understand half of what the artist was singing half the time. But with the bands I listen to now I can understand exactly what they're singing. When most people hear some idiot screaming their head off for no apparent reason, I hear someone singing lyrics in a rhythm.
That's why I believe in music. Thanks to my friends and the bands I listen to my life has gone from down to up.
