Ruthless is a book in the Pretty Little Liars series. In this book, Hanna falls for the son of her dad's enemy. Emily is showing her wild side. Aria meets up with Ezra Fitz, her former English teacher. Someone from Spencer's past has come back to haunt her.
Hanna's dad has an enemy - Tucker Wilkinson. They are both running for a nomination for the state senate. But , Tucker Wilkinson has a son named Liam. Hanna met Liam during a flash mob her dad planned for a campaign. At first, she didn't know that Liam was the son of her dad's rival. Once she found out, she knew something bad was going to happen, after all, "A" was always watching.
After Emily had her baby, she had to hide her C-section scar. Her parents didn't even know she had been pregnant. But to let loose, she went to a party with her older sister. They made kind of a "bad girl bucket list". Which was full of things she had to do. When she was at the party, She met a girl named Kay. They became really close, and started to go to things like concerts. They even sneaked backstage and danced to dance with the band.
Spencer had been introduced to a pill that helped her study over the summer. She eventually became addicted. She had been taking these pills with a girl named Kelsey. They were caught with the pills, and taken to jail. Spencer blamed the bottle of pills in Kelsy, to save her own image. Now, Kelsey had come back.
After Aria's boyfriend broke up with her and started dating a foreign exchange student, Aria had a visit from her former Boyfriend/English teacher Ezra Fitz. He left his job at her school to go to New York. When he was there, he wrote a story about their forbidden relationship, but changed the names of the characters, of course. But when he gave the rough draft of his story to Aria's enemy to read, she got mad.
I would definitely recommend this book. It is full of exciting twists and turns. A is a stalker who always knows what is going on in the girls' lives. A of course plays a big part in this. This book is great for people who love mysteries. You start to fell empathetic for the characters, and you can connect with them in certain aspects of their lives.
