Well i just read sweet Friday island by Theodore Taylor. And this book is awesome! What happens in this book is that a father and a daughter go to a vacation on a island called Baja island. And they go to that island to have a great time, but there was a dangerous killer criminal in that island. So when they go to the island they come there with a boat. And all the stuff they is in the boat, including food water medicine and all does stuff. And then when go out to explore the island, and they get back and all their stuff is destroyed. The girl's most cloth gets ripped and destroyed. And the fathers ax disappears. And his all the important stuff they had. And then they remember that there has been rumors about a criminal named senor psycho. And the problem is that they have to escape, because the criminal wanes to kill them. And they start building shelter and traps if the person does come when they are sleeping. And the father of peg-eye ( daughter ) has low blood sugar. And when they were trying to find the criminal and kill him because they get tired of being hunted by him and being scared, the father falls to a little hole and hurts his leg. And that is bad for him because the blood does not float down to his legs well, since he has low blood sugar. And he needs his medicine which the criminal took including the ax. And then the girl peg-eye has to help because her father starts to die slowly. So he goes out to find the criminal and kill him and bring the medicine. So she searches through the island with cans that can explode with fires that she has and only 2. So she does fins the medicine and the ax, and gives it to her father. To heal her father. And then.. the criminal comes.. you have to read out to find out what happens. I actually loved this book first, i thought it was kind of boring but then, it got more interesting and interesting until i could not stop reading. what i disliked is it gets a little confusing sometimes. Like the stuff that they are using. To survive. I would recommend this to a friend! because its really addicting.
