Book Review-Magic's Touch
The book i read was called Magic's Touch written by Earvin Magic Johnson and Roy S. Johnson. Magic's Touch is about Magic Johnson Explaining how he developed as a basketball player with the help of his dad taking him out to the driveway and showing him how to play,to shoot with either hand, dribble with either hand, and pass with either hand. Magic's dad made him see the importance of the little things in basketball, the fundamentals. Magic always thought he could copy his favorite NBA player, but he soon found out that he was shooting the Dave Bing jumper when he could not jump. All this hard work and confusion led Magic Johnson to the NBA leading the Los Angeles Lakers to 5 championships in 10 years and making the Lakers "showtime" style of fast and acrobatic play the hottest ticket when ever they hit town. What i liked about this book was that it told how Magic developed as a player doing the little things over and over and him becoming one of the best point guards in NBA history. I recomend this book to people who like basketball, the Lakers, Magic Johnson, or want to know what it takes to play basketball in the NBA.
