I hope you like my voki. It resembles some thing about me that i wanted to share. Like purple and blue are my favorite colors. Winter is one of my favorite seasons. Summer being #1. And I love penguins! I like all animals.

Nature Turned Around

 

Nature is more than beauty

It is inspiration

A whole new world

That inspires me

 

A single tree

Has a lot of meaning

It inspires me by

Standing strong

Through the darkest of storms

losing a lot of branches

But still holding its ground

 

A single leaf

Can hold secrets

It inspires me by

How it sparkles

In the sunlight

How it holds

Itself up

Till the moment is right

And it falls

On a Autumn morning 

 

A single Caterpillar

Has more that one life

It inspires me by

How it lives as a  Caterpillar

for a long time

Til it transforms

Than it spreads its wings

As a butterfly

 

A single jungle

Can be mysterious

How there are so many

Paths and trails to take

Never knowing which way

A baby was born 

Deep within the forest

IF I were a penguin

     If I were a penguin

     Preferably an emperor penguin

 

I would be the fastest swimmer of all the penguins

I would catch my food easily

I would dive into to the ocean just for the fun of it

I would eat some fish or maybe shrimp

I would survive through the cold

I would huddle with my colony to escape the very cold weather

 I would slide on my belly instead of waddle

I would try to fly, not that I will get anywhere

I would stay with my family till I leave

I would stand up from penguins who threaten me

I would escape the grasp of the leopard seal

 

     I would be happy

Reflection

As I look back this semester, I realize that I have really improved. From the Research paper we did to the This I believe essay. I think I have really progressed in my writing skills and techniques. I've taken another step into being a writer.

 

I really never got a lot of time to work on my assignments, but that was because i wanted it to be very detailed and well written. The problem I struggled on the most was typing my assignments in time. I would always seem to run out of time in the end and start rushing to get it typed that's why there are spelling mistake on my assignments.

 

My favorite assignments were Giver response and the Global Warming Essay. The giver response gave me a chance to voice my opinion on how The Giver should have ended and also it let me be creative and imaginative for the first time. I loved the Giver and to make an ending to it seemed fun. It took a long time though because I didn't want to rush the ending. The book wasn't rushed so I didn't want the ending to be rushed. I wanted it to be like it was part of the book from the beginning. The global warming also gave me a chance to express my opinion on Global warming. I have always hated global warming and this assignment gave me a chance to voice it out. I thought working with the science classes was a good idea because it gave me a clearer understanding of my topic, which improved my essay a lot.

 

using the wikis, I thought at first was going to be a bad idea, was actually really fun. It let us use technology in a where most people think it is so old school. I liked how we could keep everything organized and easily accessible. I dislike all the time it took to typing everything down, but it did help improve my typing speed and skills, which was a win.

 

I really loved this year and this is probably the last thing I will put on my wiki this year so I just want to say I had a blast and ENGLISH ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
