Wonder Struck
The book Wonder Struck by Brian Selznick is the book after Hugo Cabaret and is a complex book that at times is hard to follow. The story begins at Robby's house (Ben's cousin)in Gun-flint, Minnesota. After a while Ben misses his mom a lot and sees a light in her room from the window even though she died years before. He goes to explore the light but he finds out its just his cousins sister. After she leaves Ben stays for a while, but he finds a book...Wonder Struck and a book mark for Kincaid books with someone named Daniel mentioning his mother on the back. A storm is brewing outside and Ben decides to call Daniel because there was a phone number on the back of the book mark, but then lightning strikes his house and causes the phone to explode! Ben is then taken to the children's hospital and is now completely deaf! Ben runs away to find Daniel but ends up finding out Daniel moved. He then looks for Kincaid books but its closed. Then he runs into Jamie and gets scared and runs to the Museum of Natural History. Jamie finds Ben again and lets him sleep and stay there for a while. Ben goes away because it turns out Kincaid books had just moved. He finds his grand mother there and she tells him everything. After his grand mother is done explaining she shows something amazing, but you're going to have to read it to find out what it is. I would recommend this book to anyone who has read Hugo Cabaret and enjoyed it, but i would also recommend it to people who like exciting mystery kind of books.all in all I enjoyed the book and would recommend it to lots of people.
