Whisper in the dark

My book is called whisper in the dark and the author is Joseph Bruchac.
The whisper in the dark is about a girl named Maddie and her parents died in a car crash so now Maddie lives with her aunt and whenever she went to her grandmas house her grandma would tell her scary legends about their old indian ancestors and there was one story called the whisper in the dark and the whisperer in the story is said to drain its victims blood. Maddie thinks that the whisperer in the story is following her.
The setting is in an old small town. The main characters are, mr. Patel who is the taxi driver, aunt Lisa who is Maddies aunt, Maddie who is the girl that the whisperer is following and Roger who is Maddies friend.
Ok so back to the story so, first Maddie gets these weird phone calls then her dog gets attacked and then her aunt goes missing. So after all of that Maddie knows that the whisperer is after her so Maddie knows the whisperer is after her so Maddie and her friend Roger are trying to catch the whisperer. So, do you think Maddie and Roger will catch the whiperer, well you have to read the book to find out.
